Ivan Vavilin Biography
The family was peasant, so Little Vanya has learned a lot of work since childhood. Already at the age of 16, he worked far from his own house in the clearing forest room. He studied literacy in elementary school. At the age of 18 he entered the Posozdinsky school of collective farm youth then at the school was taught by the famous Komi poet Veniamin Chistelov.
I took courses to prepare for the institute. He served in the Red Army for two years. After the army, he worked in the editorial offices of republican and district newspapers. But the Great Patriotic War broke out. Ivan Mikhailovich Vavilin fought as part of the Guards mortar regiment per year. He was awarded combat medals. After the war, he returned to Syktyvkar. In the post -war years, the main characters of his books became the workers of the village. The poet was brought by the poet's poem “Grandfather Taras” by Komi, the reader sincerely fell in love with the protagonist of the poem - the collective farm foreman of Santa Taras, and Ivan Vavilin became a truly folk poet. His works are distinguished by proximity to oral folk art, folklore, and in a later period they acquire the character of philosophical reflections on life.
In addition to lyrical poems, the author wrote satirical pamphlets, fables, soldier's essays. Created a poet and works for children.
