But when I accidentally stumbled upon people who are engaged in fonts, I just stuck to this matter and could not drop. Because they combined two important and completely different things: a certain cultural component, that is, the design of the font, on the one hand, and a very complex technology, on the other.

During his work, Parataypa collaborated with companies such as Google and Apple, and leading font studios in the world. Konstantin and Galina Kunareva: Emil was a strong leader and good leader. He had incredible charisma, he easily created an atmosphere of respect and loyalty around him. Everyone adored him. Many years ago, he can be said, “infected” us with his hobby - fonts became a business and our lives too.

And his idea of ​​traveling with a visit to font conferences subsequently turned into a tradition. In addition, Parataypa designers under the leadership of Emil created fonts for the state PT Sans, PT Serif, Pt Mono to expand the support of Russian languages ​​based on the Cyrillic alphabet, held font competitions and conferences. All these roles are performed by different people. No one has yet been able to replace this role in Parataypa. Some books and catalogs published by Parataypu in the years Emil managed to build not only a company, but also a large font store. Moreover, in one of those areas that is most susceptible to piracy and where it is difficult to remain commercially successful. Parataype still lives in the works of Emil Yakupov in many ways. Emil was precisely the person who created the company, he knew everything about her and, in fact, was her and her strategy. I worked in Parataypa for five years with Emile, and then ten - without it. And there is a very big difference between when you are a young ambitious designer who can offer the leader everything that he considers interesting, and in which case, hide behind the back of senior experienced comrades who know what to do, and meanwhile, when an adult, you need to think about the strategy and plans on your own.
