Kuznetsov was born on July 14 27. In the city of study, he showed outstanding abilities to learn foreign languages. Having studied at the technical school for the year and having become a Komsomol member during this time, because of the death of his father from tuberculosis, he was forced to return to his native village. Kuznetsov moved to Sverdlovsk and began to work in the design department of Uralmashzavod.

At the same time, he studied at the evening department of the Industrial Institute of the Ural State Technical University - UPI and in German courses. He often talked with German experts, acquiring conversational practice and absorbing a German mentality. In the spring of G. Reichman, to take N. In the summer of G. Kuznetsov was sent to the partisan special purpose detachment “Winners” under the command of Colonel Dmitry Medvedev, who settled near the occupied city of Rivne. Since October, Kuznetsov, under the name of the German officer Paul Zibert, with the documents of the secret German police officer, conducted intelligence activities in Rivne, constantly talked with the officers of the Wehrmacht, the special services, and the senior officials of the occupation authorities and transferred information to the partisan detachment.

Kuznetsov ambushed and captured Major Gaana. In early June of the same year, he managed to receive important information about the preparation of the German attack on the Kursk arc. Kuznetsov personally liquidated 11 generals and senior officials of the occupation administration of Nazi Germany. Since the spring of the city, on the night of March 8 to 9, Kuznetsov heroically died in an unequal battle with a group of Ukrainian nationalists in the village of Boratin now Brodovsky district of the Lviv region.
