I have already asked such a question, so I will answer this: throughout the career, players sometimes change the club even during the season. Together with me, the Romanian club signed several new players and the new head coach.

Julia Gerasimova Biography

So far I like everything - and new partners, new training, game schemes, everything is very professionally. But in general, everyone is friendly. But we are all professional players, and we have a common goal - to show the best result. Where is volleyball the most? And I can say that volleyball is very fond of there, and the fans are very true to their favorite clubs, despite the results.

According to this indicator, the most “difficult” championship in Turkey. In Poland, also a very interesting, sometimes unpredictable championship. A good level began to revive in Ukraine, and if it weren’t for the war, I think now there would be a good season. In Romania, I know there are strong teams that play in European tournaments, but have not yet met the league in full.

In the team, the girl plays a key role, acts in the position of the central blocking. Photo: Personal archive does not really understand fame in social networks - let's get back to your childhood. How did your volleyball path begin? It was karate, and football, and swimming, and maybe something else, I don’t remember ... But after the first volleyball training, returning home, I told my mother: this!

I am very grateful to my first coach, Ishchuk to Irina Vasilievna, because she fell in love with me in this sport. We still communicate and sometimes see each other. Were there such options in life? If I am not mistaken, then from the age of 15, that is, at school, they began to introduce me to the Yuzhnensky “chemist”, and every day I ran to the stop from school, got on a “student” bus, they gave me a travel pass, and went from Odessa to the south for training.

In this schedule, I spent the last two years at school, so there was no time to think about something else. Like now. And I am also interested in how to monetize it. Therefore, taking this opportunity: I am open to cooperation and advertisers. But they flatter me when they recognize and wonder that I am an ordinary person who walks the streets, for groceries or to some kind of institution.

But sometimes it is still surprising when you check the hashtags in Tiktok or Instagram Uliyegorasymova and see hundreds of millions of references and views. Did you manage to monetize it somehow? Because for many years I gave training, competitions, for years I had no vacation, because between the seasons in the clubs for which I spoke, from the end of spring and until the beginning of autumn, competitions have always been held for the national team of Ukraine.

We won the Euroleague with the national team, participated in the three European championships, proudly put on the form with our flag and coat of arms at each competition ... But I received recognition in Ukraine and the world not for achievements, but after dancing. Probably, it was necessary to do this smiles. Does it somehow help? I am also the “goodwill ambassador” of the “injured children of war” charity foundation.

I hope that our fund will develop, and we will be able to expand the capabilities and geography of our help. They just started to find out on the street. Gerasimova is one of the winners of the Euroleague Photo: Personal Archive I dream of the beaches of Odessa - I know that on February 24 you met in the Dnieper. And then we moved first to Odessa, and then train to Poland.

How difficult was it to enter the training process, knowing that a full -scale war is going on at home? What helped tune in to work? I can say that it is very difficult to mental. Conversations with family and friends help. But I consider myself a professional athlete and try to concentrate on training and games only on this, I leave all the experiences outside the site. Sometimes it comes out.

Is there any special support and compassion? How much do they follow the events in Ukraine? I don’t understand Romanian, but I heard on the radio - information about Ukraine constantly sounds in the news. Julia, not only on the site, but also on a secular raute, can produce a splash. Photo: Personal archive - our football was in a crisis state for many years, and the war put it on the brink of survival.

How does our volleyball experience this difficult moment? I especially want to note those courageous girls and guys, judges and leadership of volleyball federations, basketball and other sports, who, despite all the circumstances, hold the country's championships. In my opinion, it is very important that it is clear to everyone that we are indestructible. As the saying goes, “You are invincible until you have surrendered!

For example, everyone who has such an opportunity goes to play abroad? Do clubs rely on youth? On the one hand, it is good that young players have the opportunity to prove themselves. On the other hand, this is a forced measure because of the war, because there really are a lot of experienced players and players who, in recent years, on the contrary, have returned to the Ukrainian championship, again left to play abroad.

And is there enough time for everything you want? Perhaps I will find what to do when I finish my career, and now there is only time for training. Is it so? I will say this: all those who know were not surprised at me. It was only one moment that got into the camera lens, but this is not a one -time action laughs. I'm from Odessa. Preferably on the coast in Odessa.

I don’t remember the last time I went on vacation to a new country. Tasty and useless food and a glass of wine. White, half -dry. But I can not without fresh vegetables and salads, brains and freshly baked bread. And like every Ukrainian and Ukrainian, I wish our state victories that our cities be rebuilt and Ukraine return to peaceful everyday life.
