Ayanat Esmagambetova biography
The life of Ayanat Ksenbai is full, and it becomes more complete. Elena Deineko: You have a beautiful name! What is your cultural origin? Ayanat Ksenbai: Thank you! I come from Kazakhstan, the lands of nomads. Poison: eight years ago you visited New York several films under the belt; Why did you stay? AK: I came to New York in the year to improve my acting skills, and then return home to continue my acting career, but shortly after my arrival, my life went through a full transformation: I met my husband, and now we have a three-year-old boy, Sandro and the rest is already a story.
AK: No, not really; Here, in New York, I had to start almost everything from scratch, because I left everything that was in my country: my family, friends, a successful acting career, etc. As soon as I make a decision, I adhere to it. And now, almost 9 years later, I cannot imagine that I live somewhere else except New York. M: Why do you change your careers? AK: Well, I think I need a break from the cinema, because as much as I like to play, it can be very demanding, emotionally.
Each of my characters was on the emotional hill, starting with the prayer of Leila, where I played a young woman who suffered from tests of nuclear weapons since the Soviet era, to my last film "Ulzhan", where my character helps a deeply saddened person to find peace in the mountains of Kazakhstan after losing his family. Ut: What is a great acting mean for you? AK: For me, an excellent game of actors, this is a huge talent to switch characters and personalities from one set to another while maintaining your signature, the audience always expect to see.
It is difficult to act without showing that you are acting, in my opinion, only a few actors were able to achieve this level of performance.
Poison: Do you miss responsibility? AK: Yes, of course, but I have never left the speakers. I continued to develop several film projects with an outstanding writing and production team here in New York. It is interesting to work on the characters and stories that I always liked; Adventures, secrets, real tales filled with failures and achievements, losses and successes.
In the end, our life is ups and downs, maximums and minimums; Nothing is constant, although sometimes it seems that it is. Poison: Why is fashion and textile design to enter your life? AK: My great-grandmother is a passing designer of exotic oriental carpets and textiles. Her story was the driving force of my dreams to use elements of Kazakh culture and its rich, bright colors of nature.
Poison: How did you start your company? AK: In fact, everything happened quite spontaneously. I did not have such an ambitious plan to create a star fashion house and take on the industry. About three years ago, I saw one of my paintings next to my fashion sketch, and this struck me: what if I try to combine watercolor prints with a clothing design? I knew that the idea was as crazy as my watercolor prints, but I instantly fell in love with it and never looked back.
Poison: What are interesting and complex aspects for you? AK: I love challenges, so this whole way I am interesting for me. Of course, each stage has its own unique tasks; I create both textiles and styles, which is a purely creative work, so I love it. Then I work with my creator of drawings to bring my sketches to original clothing items, which is a clearly complex process. I call this "fashionable engineering." As soon as we have paintings, it is completely about the timing and extreme dates from products to marketing and savings.
Ut: What is the order of the creative process? AK: My main collection is controlled with watercolor prints, so textile colors are definitely dominated by styles. While my collection of Couture is a combination of neutral, plain colors with more complex patterns, as well as a more creative design and styles. Poison: Your designs are colorful, bright and bold - is this how you see the world?
AK: I see the world in different colors. Honestly, nature is one of my boundless resources. Of course, my inspiration also proceed from my personal emotions, feelings, memories and visions of the future for my child and all of us. By the way, the streets of New York is an unopened source of my inspiration. AK: Any woman who wants to look and feel special, I want my clothes to allow women of all ages and demography experience, freedom, strength, elegance and logical madness of rich colors.
I promise to you that the dresses that we make will look smooth, sharp, elegant and funny anywhere where you wear them from New York streets to Hampton beaches, resorts or all years around the destination such as Miami, Los Angeles. I am a big fan of summer, palm trees and a view of the ocean! Ut: What have you learned to make collections? AK: Never limit yourself.Go for this everything, go with your vision, your instincts at the development stage of the meeting and you can always pull it back just before you are ready to showcase for the world.
Get serious only after you finish with the creative process; And then listen, listen to those that you trust in taste and business strategy. Poison: How do you combine the roles of your daughter, mother, wife, girlfriend, actress, singer, artist and designer? AK: Constant thirst, as in that song. I never stop moving, and I try to cope with my stress with tennis, swimming, good food and music.
After I finish working, try to collect as many pleasant impressions as possible, as I can; Sports and music help me forget how much I have to do and keep me focused on what I like to do. Of course, my son holds me so pleasantly that I do not have much time to worry in any case. Poison: Are you nervous because of competition in the fashion industry? AK: No, I actually feel privileged to do what I love!
While I stubbornly challenge myself to do more and better, and creative ideas continue to come to me, I have no fear. This makes me extremely happy when I see women enjoying my clothes. I do not think that there is a big reward for the designer than to see your design, keeping someone to look elegant, sexy and bright. As if a real Hollywood legend, Sharon Stone made my whole month in one of my dresses.
Poison: What was your greatest influence in childhood? AK: Films and nature. I have always dreamed of developing these dramatic clothes that some of the largest Hollywood stars in my favorite classic films have so generously. And looking at the giant sun sitting above the snowy mountains of the Tien Shan from the window of my children's apartment, it was always fascinating.
Ut: What are the important points in a woman's life? AK: the birth of a child is a coup of a lifetime; I do not remember myself without my son and always be grateful to God for me. Everything else is in our hands. We make or break our lives with our actions, choice and solutions. I understand more and more that I decided to make my clothes, because I wanted to do something that would make me feel elevated, and until I feel that I will never leave poison: who is your main critic?
AK: My mother and husband, but I am the worst critic of my work, hands down. M: What makes you happy? AK: My family and my work make me complete and happy. See how people enjoy life. I take pain too close to heart, even to strangers. You can only do so much to help the unfortunate, but we must continue to help without looking for awards. Poison: Do you have obsessive ideas?
AK: I am obsessed with everything that exalts me; From the nature of music, from food to architecture, but my biggest passion is my son, and like any other mother, I am obsessed with the idea of creating a better future for him, and I would go as far as I should keep him safe and preservation. Poison: What are the most important things did you find out? AK: Appreciate those who love us, trust us and wish us good, we must remember how lonely the world can be without a family and friends.
It would be a world without flowers.
