It was formed in Moscow in a year, it exists with a break in gg. The leader of the collective is Alexey Romanov G. G.'s style of group music-rock, something between blues, psychedelic and art clock with elements of country and rock and roll. The history of the Resurrection group began like this. In the spring, the drummer of the Time Machine Group Sergey Kawagoe left the group. A little later, in June of the same year, his colleague, Basist Evgeny Margulis, left the car, who was offered a place in the new musical team.

Margulis agreed, the core of the Resurrection group was founded. A little later, the guitarist and vocalist of the Kuznetsk bridge group Alexei Romanov, who became the author of the first songs of the new group, as well as Alexey Makarevich, Andrei Makarevich, joined her. The latter was engaged in the role of solo guitarist. The group at that time had very few musical instruments and opportunities for recording songs, but gradually everything began to improve.

At home, one of the participants in the new group, literally on the knee, in a month, the musicians “made” 10 songs. On the recording of the songs, Kawagoe was temporarily retrained in the keyboard player and prescribed a batch of a synthesizer, which ended up at the studio. After meeting Andrei Sapunov, some songs of Konstantin Nikolsky, a friend of Sapunov, included the repertoire of the Resurrection.

By the way, half of the new songs, in fact, were not “resurrected”, for example, such future hits as “Snow Baba” and “Who is to blame? So, the popularity of the “resurrection” then the group was also called “Sunday”, through “b” came very quickly. Her songs almost immediately began to broadcast the radio "Moscow World Service", which broadcast west on the eve of the Moscow Olympics. Thus, the group has become frantically popular - so, the song “Who is to blame becomes superchite?

In addition, the songs “Snow Baba” and “Dream” were popular. In September, the traveler suddenly wakes up in Margulis, and he leaves the group. Sapunov took up Bas Gitar. Talented musically, he quickly mastered a new tool. In November of the same year, the first concerts of the group took place, and then it became clear to everyone that the “resurrection” was at the peak of glory.

In January, in the spring, the team continues to successfully perform, new songs appear, the first and second albums replicated on the magnetic tape, dispersed instantly later, in the year, they were released as one double album “Who is to blame? Resurrection ". However, against the background of external well -being, the conflict is brewing in the composition.

The members of the group considered that Alexei Makarevich - solo -guitarist - is not very skillfully fulfilling his parties. It was decided to change it to another musician - then there was such a practice between groups. They took Alik Mikoyan, a former participant in the Time Machine. Everyone liked Mikoyan’s game, but summer came, and the musicians went on vacation in Pitsunda.

And in September G. The group remains only novels. He later recalled that Alexei Makarevich was not a very professional musician, and Kawagoe was simply a squabblers, and the group lost nothing from their departure. The selection of new musicians began, who took place, according to Alexei Romanov, in the context of "generally drunkenness." However, it was not possible to reanimate the group, and then Romanov also left, moving to Araks to the post of writer of songs.

It seemed that the “resurrection” came to an end, but then Konstantin Nikolsky set to work. This musician was known not only to the Soviet “rock test”, but also to any simple domestic listener as the author of music for the very popular song “Old Royal” in those years - the recognized hit of VIA “Flowers”. He and his friend Sapunov already had practically a new composition - he, Sapunov, Romanov and a very good drummer Mikhail Shevyakov.

There was some repertoire, it remained only to find the “base” for rehearsals and the equipment better. The second composition of the "Resurrection" was perhaps the most interesting, but also the most contradictory, and therefore very unstable. At first glance, the lyrics of Nikolsky were very similar to the "Voskresenskaya", but at the same time, quite deep differences were very well visible.

Konstantin Nikolsky wrote “beautiful” songs with a very increased degree of pathos, which were perfectly remembered by listeners. Naturally, the appearance in the group of the participant with the pronounced inclinations of the leader did not lead to anything good, and a long life was not destined for this composition. Having not played a single concert, this composition nevertheless wrote songs for the new album, planning to record them in the studio at the very first opportunity.

In the first half of June, the second disk of the group was recorded, which, like the first double, was replicated on magnetic bobbins, and in M ​​came out on a vinyl called Sunday. Songs from the album were popular, but the group ceased to exist.In May, Alexei Romanov, who was at that time without work and without musicians, accepted the invitation of the former sound engineer of the Time Machine Ovanesa Melik-Pashayev and headed the group he collected, which was called: “Melik-Pashayev’s group”.

The group, which, in a certain sense, became the new incarnation of the “Resurrection”, included: guitarist Vadim Golutvin ex-Araks, bassist Igor Klenov ex- “Six Young”, keyboard player Peter Podvodrodetsky ex-“Time Machine” and drummer Alexander Volovik. The group intensively toured the country, along the way, the volume was replaced by Vladimir Voronin from Fantasy.

The next spring, the musicians got a job at the Moscow Regional Philharmonic by their director at that time, by the way, was the current president of Polygram Russia Boris Zosimov and recorded a new album “I Rejoice! The group holding on it quickly rolled downhill. In gg. In the spring, Golutvin left the group, and in May, instead of him, on the stage of the Palace of Sports “Wings of the Soviets” on the guitar - shaking the antiquity - Melik -Pashayev himself played.

Several performances of the second composition of the group took place, but, ultimately, Romanov and Nikolsky parted in different directions.

The next third stage in the history of the “resurrection” began only in May, when in the wake of nostalgia the group gathered in its “almost original” composition of the beginning of the 10ths: Romanov, Margulis, Sapunov, Makarevich and Mikhail Shevyakov, who took the place of Japan Kawagoe at that time, he was an ethnic Japanese in his father, and he had close relatives in Japan.

After the premiere of the album, Yevgeny Margulis, who had previously combined his posts in the “Resurrection” and “Time Machine” groups, completely surrendered to the last, and the drummer Shevyakov also left. Since the fall of the year, "Sunday" acts as a trio: Alexey Romanov, vocals, guitar; Andrey Sapunov, vocals, guitar, bass gitar, foot bass keyboard; Alexey Korobkov, drums, percussion.

And the same year, the musicians starred in the video for the song “I was told life - these are spots” for the series “Not Happiness in Money” G. The joint concert “Time Machine” and “Resurrection” was held on April 2 in the State Kremlin Palace. The performance was the usual Seychena. In the year, the bassist Dmitry Leontyev joined the group. Andrei Makarevich and the Time Machine Group acted as guests.

The anniversary concert with the program “From Sunday to Sunday” took place on October 4 in Crocus City Hall, opened the concert, to the pleasure of the assembled public, “Nostalgic composition” - Romanov - Sapunov - Margulis - Shevyakov. Pyotr Podgoroditsky was as a presenter and keyboard player, Evgeny Margulis recalled the hits of his own group “Shanghai”, and Andrei Sapunov performed some songs of “Lotus”. Regarding the instrumental record “Do not believe the words”, on which the text was found in the year, Romanov and Margulis decided that they would write down the vocals if the labels offer to reprint the Vgikovsky session.
