You have a directorial education. How did you become a businessman? These were the years, Brezhnev’s stagnation. The directing was the only way to think and live freely. I, like a dissident, and went there to study. It was the directing of television, and I did not particularly know where to go after the institute. Just then the first opportunities appeared to conduct a private business - we founded the cooperative and began to make clips “DDT” and “Alice”.

There was no computer graphics - to remove the fire, we set fire to a real diesel fuel. But how did you get into the fish farm? We needed expensive equipment and were looking for options for converting rubles into dollars. We were deceived everywhere until we met the fishermen who needed to pay for their left orders, and they received currency for fish. For the third or fourth time, they admitted that all the rubles drank, and offered us the shares of their fish enterprise.

The idea was crazy, but I wanted to try. It turned out that this is a good business. We caught cod, and this is a product valued in Europe: white fish, useful, protein. I threw art and began to do business, the company began to grow. Now she is one of the largest in the northwest, our fleet is calculated by dozens of ships. They say that the embargo on the import of Western products will improve the position of the domestic manufacturer in the market.

Are you glad? Alas, it is unlikely that our authorities predict to the end than it can end. Fish markets differ from meat. Beef and pork are used more or less in all countries. Fish markets are formed historically. It is impossible to force a Russian person in the volumes in which the Spaniards do this. Just as it is unrealistic to force the British there is a large amount of herring.

The market is good because it is a self -regulatory mechanism. Any artificial measures can only damage him. So we banned Norwegian red fish, so it simply will not become it in a few months. Even from our Far East you can’t bring quickly, there is no logistics. What made you do show business? I accidentally met the director Yanush Yuzefovich, we were introduced to us, and he told me about the technology of musicals 3D.

I was not too lazy, went to Warsaw, looked and impressed very much. From the very beginning, I was interested in scenography in the theater. When the chandeliers hang, as it were, right above you, but at the same time there are no 3D-kino sensations-there is some third reality that maneuver between virtual and reliable. The Moscow boom x on the musicals almost did not touch us.

There is an opinion that in St. Petersburg a musical does not like. I will answer with banality: there are no bad genres, there are bad performances. It’s just that this genre did not develop before. Now we are collecting a full house. Is this a profitable business? Yes, profitable. A full house - it is a full house. On the "Paul Negri" tickets were sold very well: people walked for the sake of vivid visual impressions, and to see their favorite actors.

Do you want to make a franchise out of your musicals? How do you know? We specifically have now taken stories, which, unlike the "Negri Half," are not local: "Juliet and Romeo" and "Peter Pan". That is, we hope that we will buy a franchise from us. We partially bought the previous musical from the Poles, and we do two new ones ourselves. No, we were bored of doing just the next production of Shakespeare.

This is not about the war of clans, but about the relationship of parents and children. And by the way, our action will take place in the future. We are now attracting to participation in the project of high technologies. They can show some of their developments and forecasts, and we can embed them into effect. And frankly, it is easier for us when we interact with specialists: they allow us to present the future not exclusively from the point of view of the artist, to bring an element of science fiction into it.

You even earlier, before the musicals, became the producer of the film "Shoping Tour" by Mikhail Brashinsky. How did you bring you to the cinema? Just Misha is my old friend, he brought me the script, I read and was surprised by his freshness. The film did not eventually become a cash register, but the festival hit. Also a reason for pride. She collaborates with the Polish composer Janusz Stoklosoy.

In November, the company "Virma", which is the co -owner of which Mirgorodsky, bought the Arkhangelsk trawl fleet.
