Tigran Sargsyan Biography

He made a huge contribution to strengthening the foundations of the military-patriotic spirit of the Armenian people, the creation of an independent state and the national army. Parents brought up patriotism in their four children. Tigran went in for sports, painted paintings, sculpted sculptures and read a lot. He was drafted into the Soviet army in the year.

Already at a young age, Tigran had brilliant knowledge in the field of philosophy, social sciences, and military affairs. For him, justice, the ability to protect rights were very important. Since the year, he became an active participant in the national liberation movement, which was a surprise to many.

In April, he founded the patriotic organization “Metz Aik”, uniting students who are ready to resolutely protect justice for the Armenian people. In the year with his associates by the unification of the patriotic organizations “Metz Aik”, “Azatutsun”, “Nork” created the Tigran Metz Association and was elected a member of the council. The regiment received a combat blessing during the fighting of Sisian’s self -defense, from the priest Terrair Sakhradyan.

Tigran Sargsyan was elected chief of staff of the regiment, a member of the Military Council. Tigran owned all types of weapons, the tactics of fighting in mountainous and forest areas, and military intelligence skills. The level of professionalism of Tigran Sargsyan was at a very high level for his young age. He showed particular exactingness in the selection of volunteers of the regiment, he considered the moral and volitional qualities of the fighter primary.

He created a solid system of training, equipment, and training of soldiers. In a short time, he turned the Azatamartiki regiment into a military unit. He made great efforts to increase the level of combat effectiveness and moral and psychological level of the regiment fighters. To this end, on the Mount of Arai Ler, he created a military training base, where Azatamartics underwent preliminary preparations for the tactics of fighting in mountainous and forest areas, studied engineering and coherent work.

Only the preparation of the warrior was allowed into battle. He carried military literature with him and constantly increased his knowledge. Tigran knew the birthdays of every soldier more than a person, he knew a lot about their life. He was very respected and trusted to him. According to his program, there was a powerful and invulnerable military base on the part of the enemy, from where the assault actions were carried out.

Equipment with Tigran Sargsyan positions, prepared ambushes and posts were impregnable for the enemy. He showed himself a perfect commander, strategist and tactic. In his knowledge, he was not inferior to the personnel military. Thanks to this, there were few losses. He was a commander who fought next to his warriors. Respectfully treated people. In November, he was elected deputy of the city council of Yerevan, carried out work as part of the legal commission.

He fought for his life for several days, but on December 9, he went to eternity. He was buried in Yerevan Eralur. Tigran Sargsyan has a son, whom they, together with his wife Lusin, called Argishti, as both dreamed. Glory to our heroes!
